01. .NET/PHP/HTML Developers – Permanent

The successful candidate will have will have the ability to take ownership of assigned projects from proposal stage through to creating technical specification sheets and delivery. The professional and ambitious candidate will be able to complete projects to the highest standard and the skills to produce a variety of work ranging from building high quality websites, micro-sites and eDM’s, through to testing, support and ongoing database and system maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates who have Australian tertiary qualifications with at least 5 years industry experience.

• Strong .NET, SQL development skills
• Strong PHP, MySQL development skills

• Experience with CMS and eCommerce solutions

02. Mid/Senior Web Designer – Permanent

StudioEmotion has been around for 10+ years and have an excellent top-tier client list of well-known brands. The role requires a talented person with a real passion for interactive design, an excellent understanding of the web, online branding and user-interface design. You will need to be conceptually strong and have a high level of understanding of emerging web technologies.

Expectations & Responsibilities:

• At least 4-5 years + experience working in digital
• Fresh and intuitive approach to creative thinking
• Comprehensive understanding of what works on the internet
• Understanding of designing to accessibility and usability standards
• Mastery of Adobe CS5 including a good understanding and passion for Flash
• Good understanding of web technologies and emerging Internet trends (eg AJAX, user generated content, accessibility)
• Experience in designing for large corporate sector clients
• Strong understanding of brands
• Solid skills in typography / layout / colour
• Ability to sketch / story-board ideas
• Lead or support the presentation of design solutions to clients
• Actively take part in meetings and critiques of work
• Evidence of willingness to develop design & technical skills
• Extensive knowledge of GUI & understands UX
