Victorian Bushfires

As a Sydneysider it’s hard to imagine the bushfires that have so devastatingly swept through rural Victoria until someone forwards you an image such as the one displayed above (reference: Wikipedia). The image depicts the smoke plume as it makes its way from Victoria, across the Tasman, to the South Island of New Zealand.

If you haven’t already done so, please give generously to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009 by either making a secure online donation or by phoning 1800 811 700.

As I am sure many of you are aware, this device simply allows websites, blogs & forums to protect their integrity against SPAMBOTS by requiring human visual authentication via the entry of a warped image code as verification before the message sends.
