The mobile industry is huge, actually MASSIVE and growing at an astronomical rate. According to intomobile.com, mobile data revenues in the United States, set to reach over $55B by the end of 2010. This means more people are using mobile devices to browse the web, download files and more. I think most people are aware of the phenomenal growth of mobile devices. The exact extent of that growth though, may well shock a few of you. Truly mind-blowing stats. Great presentation.
This clever reality game challenges users to download the ‘MINI Getaway’ app., find the MINI within Stockholm city centre and then stay as far away as possible from anyone else playing the game. If another player comes within 50 meters of the MINI holder, they are able to steal the virtual MINI and take on the challenge. Whoever holds the virtual MINI on the closing date of the competition wins an actual, MINI.

GNILLEY is a game concept created by a small freeware game developer, ‘Radix’. Presented at ‘Game Jam Sydney 2010′, the game allows the user to control the main character and defeat enemies via voice control. The louder you shout/scream, the more aggressive the attack. Genius idea and a very amusing presentation. Love it!
3D Projection mapping appears to becoming incredibly popular, especially within the automotive industry. Most examples that we have found have been on a huge scale with projections being cast upon large buildings within various cities across the world. This particular example was part of the Toyota Auris Hybrid launch is on a much more intimate scale, and as far as we’re concerned, works much better than it’s larger scale counterparts.

This is another great execution by NZ Army that has incorporated a number of different games into their YouTube channel to encourage and attract potential recruits. This is news to some people but we recently discovered this Google site that showcases a range of different products already developed and currently being developed by Google themselves. Ever since the release of the iTouch, touch screen devices have exploded onto the scene in a big way. All of the big tech players either already have a touch screen device in the market place or are currently working on one. Some of the concepts in this ‘vision of the future’ from ‘TAT’ are probably not actually that much further down the track.
