On Saturdays we race a three-man 16ft. skiff on Sydney harbour from Manly Cove. Mark Murdan at the helm, Kim Grantham on the mainsail and Chris Maden on the kite. What’s unique about Skiffs is that they won’t stay upright by themselves and need all three crew members to constantly be moving their weight to avoid capsizing. It’s probably the hardest and most rewarding sport I’ve ever been involved with, and its in such a picturesque locale.
